Summary

Well, that's interesting. Bitcoin.com, led by owner Roger Ver, has pivoted into the world of bitcoin casino, partnering with leading bitcoin gaming software provider softswiss. While perhaps it makes sense from a "how else are we going to make money" perspective, this news did make me cringe a bit. It's not that I am opposed to gambling - a good deal of my own sites content is devoted to it after all - nor can I fault Mr. Ver for doing what he felt needed to be done in order to monetize the domain.

It just seems to cheapen the bitcoin brand a bit. Yes yes, bitcoin is very well suited as a payment instrument for commerce discouraged by nanny state's, casino being a notable example. But by virtue of it's name, bitcoin.com carries with it a level of representativeness, and tying itself so close to casino seems to tie bitcoin to it, rather than it being a simple happy biproduct. In my opinion at least.

Additionally, we were surprised that the casino does not accept US players - which sort of undermines bitcoin's happy byproduct mentioned above. Many of the software providers offered do, indeed, accept US players, so this is a decision of casino.bitcoin.com ownership. Considering Mr. Ver's well-publicized denunciation of his US citizenship we would think that he would be ok, like many of the other softswiss licensees, to offer casino products to his one-time compatriots. :(

All that being said, in casino.bitcoin.com we've got an excellent softswiss product, backed by a some wealthy people - well known and established in the bitcoin marketplace - interested in maintaining the stature of both their names as well as their products. Point being that we know what we get with softswiss, and bitcoin.com brings with it an additional level of integrity that should make players comfortable depositing.

Opening an account

Put in your email and password, verify your email, and you are in! Assuming you'd like to deposit in bitcoin, you can either deposit directly to bitcoin.com or through cubits, which allows for direct deposit/withdrawal through your cubits wallet. Additional deposit options are available (wonder if bitcoin.com debated including this or not), including skrill, neteller, bank wire or credit card, whilst withdrawals can be made via bank transfer.

Withdrawing funds requires inputting additional information, while proof of identity, address and deposit - i.e. screenshot from your payment provider showing your deposit - may "speed up" your withdrawal of bitcoin. Document verification is a requirement for any non-bitcoin deposit option.

Software and Games

Well, bitcoin.com has gotten their hands on the entire suite of softswiss games, which means they offer literally thousands of titles from some of the best software providers in the marketplace. Customers are spoilt for choice, with 100s of 3d slots from betsoft, and tons of titles from softswiss, amatic and endorphina, while multiple provably fair table games are offered from softswiss.

Ezugi provides the live dealing, with beautiful girls offering Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, Sede, Wheel of Dice and autoroulette. Turkish and Russian speaking women are available on most games, useful for Turks and Russians, or if you just happen to enjoy playing with attractive women speaking in Slavic or Turkish tongues.

Mobile

Bitcoin casino veterans will no doubt be aware of the responsive nature of all games within the softswiss library. Bitcoin.com does an excellent choice making their website intuitive and comfortable for mobile users.

Security

All coin is held in cold storage according to the casino.

Support

Very good! Live chat support is available directly from the client 24/7, and my chat window was answered by an agent within less than a minute and a half on all occasions.

Bottom Line

Caisno.bitcoin.com offers a mobile-optimized softswiss product, complete with tons of games, an excellent live dealer selection, bonuses galore, and allowing the depositing and withdrawing of bitcoin with just an email and password. There is a certain level of gravitas associated with both the domain and the people behind the venture that should lend confidence to deposit funds. Leaving aside the very regrettable exclusion of the casino service to US players, we have no problems providing our voice in support of this new venture!
